Candyfloss Hair Anyone?

Helloo you lot. Hope you're alright!

So, I little while back I dyed the bottom of my hair pink and I promised to do a review on the hair dye I used. If you're like me and you can't choose a hair colour to stick with and you get bored easily, these hair dyes are a god send.
They are the non-permanent Bleach London Super Cool Colour dyes. Which wash out in 2-10 washes. Depending on the colour, your hair and how vibrant you make it.
I was skeptical at first. I didn't trust that a hair dye would wash out of my hair so quickly, and I have had a lot of bad experiences with trying to get dye out of my hair. If you click HERE, I've talked all about my hair history. You'll see what I mean. *cringe*
I was worried that it would somehow turn permanent and I would have to use a whole shed load of "colour b4" to remove it.

BUT! I now realise that I was just being stupid. The colour washed out amazingly, from the first wash it faded loads. Then the second wash it just looked like blonde with a rose gold tint. I was already itching to try out a new colour. Literally, it's like a hair dye demon takes over my body and I just crave changing my hair.
So I picked up Bleach's Wash Out Liquid just to wash out as much of the pink as I could, then I picked up two of their dyes "Washed Up Mermaid" which is a light turquoise/blue colour. And I picked up "Bruised Violet" which is a beautiful red/pink based purple. And I proceeded to whack these colours onto my head, colouring my slightly shorter layers with the Bruised Violet and the longer layers with Washed Up Mermaid and this is my result:

I took this picture in front of my bathroom window with my bathroom light on. To try and show it at it's brightest, and showcase it lighting which you're likely to be around.
I'm so in love with this I cannot begin to tell you. It has completely blown me away. I feel like I dipped my head in a candyfloss machine and came out looking fabulous. I know I always rave about this brand but it's because they simply deserve it.

I will also say, the dyes are very conditioning. Which leaves my hair feeling so lovely, considering the amount of chemical treatments it's been through.

I will update you guys on how well these colours fade and I will come back when I've tried new colours! Maybe comment below and suggest colours I could try, because I'm looking for exciting new ideas. Haha!

  1. the colors look so good! I wish I had blonde hair just so I could dye my hair...but i Have a dark brown hair color and I doubt these will work on me :(

    1. Aw thank you so much :) I think bruised violet would make the most change to dark hair. x

  2. Your hair colour is gorgeous! Wish I can pull that off but hubby dearest is quick to remind me that I am a middle age mother. LOL!

    1. Hahaha thank you! Doesn't matter what age you are I'm sure it'd look good! x

  3. That looks brilliant! I use hair chalks quite a bit but I may have try these for Reading - who cares if your hair is tangled and greasy if it's bright pink!? (right?!)
