Birthday Goodies

Hiya everyone! Hope you're all okay!

It feels like so long since I've blogged, being somewhere without wifi isn't great. Of course, I enjoyed my time away. Relaxed in the hotel pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. I honestly didn't want to leave, but the one thing I missed was my blog! sad.
So, it was my birthday on Saturday and I managed to treat myself to a little something. I walked past a Lush store and, of course, I was pulled into it like a magnet.
I decided to try out one of their gift boxes.

I picked up the Hello Gorgeous box for £22.95 and I am so in love with it, it's unreal. You get 5 things in the box so I'll just talk about what you get inside! (Well, I'll talk about 4 of them, one product I haven't tried yet)

Vanilla dee-lite is absolutely stunning. I have never really thought to try Lush's body lotions so I'm really glad this box included one. I do think that's one of the best things about these boxes, they give you a chance to try something you might never have tried if you were buying them individually. This product smells like coconut and cocoa butter. Really hydrating for your skin and I love to use it after a bath. I usually spend the rest of the day slyly smelling my arms!

This is one of two main reasons I purchased the box. The Comforter. This is without a doubt one of my absolute favourites from Lush. I adore "pink" Lush products, bubblegum, blackcurrant type smells. I think they're so warm and cozy for a long soak in the bath.
Really strong but soft blackcurrant smell and turns your bath water pink. What's not to love?!

This is the second reason I purchased this box. The Sakura bath bomb. Made with Mimosa, Jasmine and orange flower it smells gorgeously floral. While the bomb is dissolving it leaves blue and pink colour streaks in the bubbles it creates, it also releases salts which disappear at it fizzes away. The bath water dies down to a normal milky/misty colour and leaves a floral scent on your skin which I've even been able to very faintly smell the next day.
Absolutely stunning and I would 100% recommend.

I had never even heard of Rub Rub Rub until I got this box. I had previously been using Lush's "Ocean Salt" scrub but now that I've discovered this, I will be using this much more regular.
I think I prefer the Rub Rub Rub smell, it's much more floral whereas the Ocean Salt can be more masculine and fresh. But I do love them both.
Rub Rub Rub salts are much rougher and grittier than Ocean Salt's. I find it exfoliates my skin better.

This doesn't come in the box but I thought I'd buy myself some because I can't resist. This is a huge chunk of Rock Star soap. In my opinion, the best way to describe this soap is like love-heart sweets mixed with bubble gum. Really girly and "pink" smelling.
That's all I need to say because it doesn't need anymore words. Really beautiful.

AND as a little side note, If you love scrunchies, I discovered these absolutely stunning over-sized velvet scrunchies in New Look. They have a huuuge collection of them. Different colours, different materials and different sizes. But personally I love velvet scrunchies. I picked up this Jade green colour and I think I'm going to go back and get the dusty pink and purple ones.
Hope you've enjoyed reading and I've missed you guys! Haha.
