July Favourites

Hiya! I hope you're okay.

It has been SO long since I've posted on this blog! 2 whole YEARS. I was working really hard in other aspects of my life and writing my music blog, there was just no time for this. Lately I'd been thinking about how much I missed this blog so much, I've decided to make a come back!

To kick start the posts again, I'm going to go through 3 products I've really loved throughout July.

1. Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick - Watermelon Soda

Since I ordered this product I was sat by the front door every single day, waiting for my package to arrive. This lipstick is absolutely STUNNING. Anyone who knows me at all knows I am a sucker for a matte lipstick. You can keep your glossy products, just give me all the matte!
It is a gorgeous hot watermelon pink colour and bonus, it smells like watermelon sweets too! If you're not someone who is into scented lip products, I wouldn't worry too much. It's definitely subtle and goes away the longer you wear the product. The swatch on the bottom left of the above picture, is just one swipe of the wand over my hand. The lipstick was just from one dip too, it's a super pigmented product.
10/10 would recommend and would definitely buy from Jeffree Star again.

2. Bumble & Bumble - Surf Infusions

I'm a huge fan of not having to do much with my hair (aka lazy) and for years I have been searching for the perfect salt spray, which would allow me to have beautiful soft beach waves. I cannot begin to count the amount of times that quest has ended in a massive fail. Until now.
Honestly I'd totally given up with salt sprays, I was sick of my hair feeling hard and crispy after using them. However, one day I strolled past the Bumble & Bumble counter in Boots and my eyes were instantly drawn to their Surf collection. I picked up the Surf Infusion oil infused salt spray for £22.

This product contains coconut, mango seed, palm and passionfruit oils. A sea salt and mineral blend, algae extracts and UV inhibitors to prevent sun damage.

The sea salt does it's job creating beautiful waves throughout my hair, but doesn't dry out or crisp up AT ALL because of the oils. It dries completely and feels just as soft and bouncy as when I first washed it.

10/10 would recommend for anyone who craves surf style, but wants to skip those dodgy crispy strands.

3. Baija Paris - Moana Cream

This is quickly becoming one of my favourite "after shower" body creams. It's absolutely perfect for this time of year, you know, sat in your office wondering why you're not sat on a hot beach instead.
I've never smelled anything like this in my life. It is so beautiful, creamy and luxurious. Made with Shea butters, Coconut oil, Cupuacu oil and Beeswax, it transports me to a warm tropical beach instantly.

So those were my favourites for the past month! I hope you enjoyed reading! It's so good to be back.
Let me know what your favourite was for July.
